Ken Furer is an experienced digital comedy producer and writer in Los Angeles. As Supervising Producer for Maker Studios’ comedy hub channel Nacho Punch, Ken oversees development and production on sketches and series that have been featured in Time Magazine, The LA Times, The Huffington Post, Slate, Mashable, Buzzfeed, GQ, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Fast Company, Perez Hilton, AV Club, CNET, College Humor, Laughing Squid, Jezebel, Nerdist, Gizmodo, Kotaku, and other made-up words. Additionally, Samsung is now licensing these videos for its new platform. Ken was Supervising Producer on Maker’s Best of 2014 Special that aired on Fusion and co-wrote Maker’s first TV show Maker Monstober that aired on Disney Channel. He also won Maker’s first Innovation Award for his viral music video Baby Swag. Previously at Maker Studios he produced videos for Snoop Dogg (Lion?), Bart Baker, and other top YouTube talent generating over 150 million total views.
Ken has written and/or produced content for Funny or Die, Fox Digital, Participant Media, and Turner’s Superdeluxe. In addition he has written, developed, and/or produced branded content for Ford, Pepsi, Hard Rock Cafe, and Quiznos. Ken is also the creator of The Wish List, a parody of The Black List that has been featured on Deadline.com, The Hollywood Reporter, and The Huffington Post. Previously he worked in feature film/TV development at Bona Fide Productions (Little Miss Sunshine, Nebraska, The Leftovers). Ken has never seen Breaking Bad but he believes you that it’s groundbreaking.
