Ken Furer is a comedy writer/producer in Los Angeles. As supervising producer for Maker Studios’ comedy hub channel NachoPunch, he has produced and co-written comedy sketches that have been featured in Time Magazine, The LA Times, The Huffington Post, Slate, Mashable, Buzzfeed, GQ, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Fast Company, Perez Hilton, AV Club, CNET, Laughing Squid, Jezebel, Nerdist, Gizmodo, Kotaku, and other made-up words. He co-wrote Maker’s first TV show Maker Monstober which aired on Disney Channel. He also won Maker’s first Innovation Award for his viral music video Baby Swag. Previously at Maker he produced videos for Snoop Dogg (Lion? Zilla??) and other top YouTube talent generating over 150 million total views.
Ken is a featured contributor on Funny or Die and the creator of The Wish List, a parody of The Black List that has been featured on Deadline.com, The Hollywood Reporter, and The Huffington Post. Additionally he has written and produced content for Fox Digital, Participant Media, and Turner’s Superdeluxe. He has written, developed, and produced branded content for various companies including Ford, Pepsi, Hard Rock Cafe, and Quiznos.
Previously he worked in development at Bona Fide Productions (Little Miss Sunshine, Nebraska, Election). Ken has never seen Breaking Bad but he believes you that it’s groundbreaking.
